VAASHOMZ began with a simple conviction: the objects inside your home shape the feeling of it — and most of what's available doesn't deserve the space it takes up.

We are a New Delhi–based studio making ceramics, metal objects, and kitchenware — each piece handcrafted, honest in its materials, and designed to last far longer than the moment it's given.

Every VAASHOMZ piece goes through the same process: a maker's hands, an honest material, a form with no excess. Nothing is added that doesn't serve the object.

We ship across India. We gift-wrap everything. And we stand behind every piece — returns, always, no questions asked.

In classical Sanskrit, vaas carries a warmth beyond the physical — it is the feeling of belonging to a place, the sense that a space has been made yours by the life lived inside it.
The name
VAASHOMZ = Vaas + Homz
We joined the Sanskrit root with the English word for home — two languages, one idea: that the objects you surround yourself with define the feeling of the place you return to.

Our values

01 Made by hand
Every ceramic is wheel-thrown or hand-built. Every metal piece is cast or spun. The maker's hand is present in every object — and that's never an accident.
02 Honest materials
Stoneware, porcelain, brass, copper, steel. We name what we use because we believe in every material that goes into every piece. No composites, no shortcuts.
03 No excess
Nothing is added that doesn't serve the object. Our aesthetic is restraint — not minimalism for its own sake, but the confidence that form follows function, always.
04 Gift-ready always
Every piece ships in cloth-lined packaging. Gift wrapping, note cards, personalisation — all included, always. A VAASHOMZ gift should feel considered before it's even opened.
05 Built to last
We make things that age well. Brass develops patina. Copper grows verdigris. Stoneware gains character with use. We design for the long arc, not the unboxing moment.
06 Free returns
If something doesn't belong in your home, we take it back. No friction, no questions. That's our promise — and the reason we're confident in everything we make.
How it's made

How each piece
comes to be.

Every VAASHOMZ object follows the same unhurried process — from raw material to your table. We don't rush any step, because the quality of what you receive depends on every one of them.

We work with craftspeople in Delhi, Moradabad, and Khurja — regions with centuries of tradition in metalwork and ceramics. The knowledge is theirs; we bring the brief and the care.

Material sourcing
We source buff stoneware and white porcelain clay from verified Indian suppliers. Brass and copper billets are cast locally. Every material is tested before production begins.

Hand making
Ceramics are wheel-thrown or hand-built by our artisans. Metal pieces are cast, spun, or forged. At no point does a machine do what a hand can do better.

Finishing & glaze
Ceramics are bisque-fired, hand-glazed, and kiln-fired at 1280°C. Metal pieces are polished, patinated, or lacquered by hand. Each piece is inspected at this stage.

Quality check
Every piece is inspected before packaging. Minor natural variations in glaze pooling, clay body, or surface texture are not defects — they are the mark of the hand.

Packaged with care
Every object is wrapped in cloth and boxed. Gift sets are assembled by hand. Personalised note cards are written — not printed. Then it ships to your door.
